Photo Album - Charleston, SC

A recent weekend excursion to a vibrant, quaint, historic gem by the Atlantic - Charleston, SC - was a great way to recharge my batteries - worn down by Atlanta, GA.

Unlike Atlanta, Charleston is very compact and walkable and one feels safe doing so..

Not nearly as lush as Savannah, but it still has plenty of places to sit down and sit a spell.

Like any city on the coast Charleston is very flat and thus easy to get around on a bicycle.

King Street is full of boutiques and eateries for anyone who happens to want to drop large amounts of cash.

Folks at AC's Bar and Grill clearly know who to root for when writing on the blackboards in the bathroom.

There are more than enough mansions in Charleson, but I find the row homes to be much more photogenic.
